defocus the image. it is so beautiful to defocus. a powerful concept. you can barely make out the numbers or letters from far away, and even less people's faces on the street. forego seeing people that are far away to enjoy their expressions and reactions when they are near you. something clicked in my head, defocus... that is what I needed to do. so I did. i defocused all that is excessive, which can be too much and burdensome. i defocused life around me. sat in silence with blurred shapes in front of my eyes, letting time pass and not caring. focused inside.
